Thanksgiving Ceremony-Gracias

The Thanksgiving Ceremony titled “Gracias” organized on 23/04/24 by the students of B.Ed Sem IV was a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards the teachers who have been guiding and mentoring them throughout their academic journey. The event was meticulously planned and executed according to the program schedule to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees.

The ceremony commenced with a soulful prayer song, invoking blessings and setting the tone for the rest of the event. The melodious rendition brought a sense of serenity and reverence to the gathering followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom. It marked the beginning of the formal proceedings, signifying enlightenment and guidance provided by the teachers.

Students took the stage to share their experiences and anecdotes, expressing gratitude towards specific teachers who had left a profound impact on their lives. Their heartfelt testimonials were met with applause and appreciation from the audience.

Certificates were awarded to students by the Director, Principal, Vice Principal and HOD of Education to the students who had successfully completed certificate courses during their academic tenure. This segment celebrated their achievements and acknowledged their dedication to continuous learning and skill development.

The Director of the institution Rev. Fr. Amit Tirkey delivered an inspiring speech, highlighting the significance of the occasion and acknowledging the invaluable contribution of the teaching faculty in shaping the future educators. Principal, Dr. Kuldeep Dubey addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude towards the teachers for their dedication and commitment and wished success to the students. The Head of the Department Dr. R. Gayatri Iyengar shared insightful remarks, recognizing the hard work and perseverance of both the students and the teachers. All the speeches underscored the collaborative effort required to achieve academic excellence and personal growth.

As a symbolic gesture of continuity and tradition, the outgoing students passed on their duties and responsibilities to their juniors. This ritual emphasized the sense of camaraderie and mentorship within the academic community, fostering a spirit of collaboration and support.

A vote of thanks was extended by Ms. Lucy Tirkey (B.Ed Sem IV) to all the teachers, staff, and students who had contributed to the success of the ceremony. Their collective effort and cooperation were instrumental in making the event a memorable and meaningful experience for everyone involved. The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
